Welcome to the TINV Continuation Study! Thank you to the participants that have completed the initial TINV study! We appreciate you and everything you have contributed to the study over the past year.
Now that you have reached the one-year milestone, we would like to invite you to be a part of our continuation study. We think this is important because we have noticed that many women continue to report symptoms even at the end of one year after their surgery. We also think it is important to document how COVID-19 has affected the symptom experience.
If you agree to join our continuation study, it will be for two more years. We will call or email you once per month and send you a collection kit to provide a saliva sample during the eighteenth month after your initial surgery. This means you only have to provide one more saliva sample.
You would continue to be paid on your Vincent Card $25.00 (four times) throughout the two years and an additional $50 for completing the continuation study, for a total of $150.00.
